I am looking for a way to (visually) select multiple objects and then add certain custom XML attributes to each selected element. When only one element is selected, the attribute panel is visible on the XML Editor, but as soon as more than one object is selected the attribute panel disappears. Is there any workaround available?

Hi.
Just a thought, you may be able to group the selected objects together and set attribute to the group, then ungroup them if necessary.
Another option is setting the attribute to one object, then copying it (Ctrl+C) and selecting the other objects and pasting in style (Ctrl+Shift+V).
