I used to make ads with vertical Japanese text all the time using Illustrator but have turned over a new leaf and trashed all my downloaded software and have been really loving inkscape a lot. The only problem is I can not figure out how to use this very much needed feature.

I work in Japan and make ads in Japanese. I need to be able to type or copy and paste text vertically.

I used the text diologue window in Inkscape to change a paragraph to vertical text but it did absolutely nothing O_o

Sorry for the trouble
I figured it out.
I just had to change the text to right justified and then back to left justified and then the vertical text option worked
