I use to produce pdf graphs with R then I like to modify them using inkscape. Yet when I increases font using text tool , letter size increases but letter spacing doesn't as you can see in example.
Does any one else have this problem ? Thank for your help.

I see the same issue here...
I would use Menu: Text> Remove manual kerns.

Thank you for the answer. Googling a little bit from your answer helped me to understand this (not so) strange behavior.
