960.gs templates

Postby aho » Thu Apr 02, 2009 8:16 am

I made some templates for the 960 Grid System.

Give it a whirl if you got some spare time. I think I got everything covered. Any suggestions for improvements are welcome. :)

This is such a good idea. I tend to fudge things and make do with awkward management of the layout, but having a base like this to start from should help me keep things organised right from the start.

I gave all guides a matching ID. E.g. the one at 190px got the ID "x_190px". This makes it easier to reposition accidentally dragged guides (in case you can't just undo it... since you didn't notice it right away).

I wish I had of known about this I just took a screenshot of the 960 page and then cut the individual columns and saved as 90 res. and used it as a placeholder below the document and then dragged guides to each column. Thanks for sharing.
