First post and no doubt will not be the last
I am working my way through the tutorial by Tav and am doing the banknote.
I can create a radial tiled clone on a seperate workspace but if I return to the banknote workspace I get 36 circles spread out in a ring instead of a flower-like arrangement.
I am using the same values for both.
Hoping you can make sense of that.
Love Inkscape but can be frustrating to a beginner sometimes.

That sounds like a well known, and thoroughly irritating bug, that I've run into many times. I can't explain the technical details, but it's related to using some kind of transformation and/or changing the page orientation. But if you can create the radially tiled clones on a new layer, in the bank note document, that should solve the problem.
