Vertical strips filling

Postby Arthas » Sat Nov 23, 2013 3:23 am

Hello everyone. There is a method for filling an image or a portion of it with a pattern of alternate vertical stripes? An example of what I would do is this, in the shirts with white and lightblue stripes: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... _11_18.svg

Pa, dje je ba zapelo?!

Open the Fill and Stroke panel - there`s a tab just for Fill and there you`ll find a few options. Next to the Radial gradient is the one you need ,)

I don't need a gradient, I need two alternate strips of different colors

For those with a cheaper tickets....

...alas, you`ll need a duplicate of the shape beneath, since this fill makes just the stripes and the other part of the shape is transparent.
