Blend 2 pictures? Need Help

Blend 2 pictures? Need Help

Just started using Inkscape. I have 2 photos, that I would like to combine / blend together.

I used filter, saturation and it almost does the trick..but 1 image is way too light. Any suggestions besides the objest to path usual chat? I would have to imagine a simple "blend image" and brighten 1 or the other is out there...

Help!?? :?:

You can do it inside the attached file.

Simply load it in Inkscape, open Filters/Filters editor, select your upside image and apply one of the two filters in Filters editor ; then change eventually the Blend mode on the bottom of Filters Editor.

If you want to be able to di it permanently, replace your Default template (on Linux : usr/share/inkscape/templates) with the following one I uploaded on Open Clipart :
