loading matlab generated pdf or svg in inkscape

Postby deathracer333 » Tue Feb 27, 2018 11:31 pm

I am trying to load a pdf as well as svg of a plot generated using Matlab in Inkscape. As soon as I load it into Inkscape, the plot splits into grids and does not allow me to ungroup individual item to edit.

Is there a way I can edit ungroup each line and edit it?

Thanks

Can you share an example file, please? (SVG, after import)

That's because the 'SVG' file as well as the pdf only contain raster data, no vector data. You can check that by ungrouping repeatedly, until in the status line it tells you that what is currently selected is/are images of a certain size.

So, matlab doesn't produce any editable vector data for this kind of diagram. You need to find another way.
