Mountain Lion file don't open

Hello,

I test Inkscape to replace Illustrator.
My file is in SVG.
XQuartz run.
I open my file with Inkscape and I work correctly.
I save it : OK
But when i want to open this file, i cannot.
There is a window like this (failure of the loading of the file…)

Do you have some ideas ?

Are you trying to open the file by clicking?
Are SVG files associated with Inkscape?
Do other not edited SVG files open?

Yes

You can see informations in the copy.

I don't understand why it can't open :(

Permission are all read and write.

I put my file in copy next, if you want to try open it with your Inkscape.

Hello:
Just for curiosity, I tried to open your shared file in my pc (with windows 7 and Inkscape 0.48). It didn't opened.
So I tried with a text editor (Scite, notepad, any of these).

What i found it's a lot of extrange xml/svg code, from adobe ilustrator, I believe.

I don't have enough knowledge of SVG code to test a cleaning of your file. Anyway, it seems that there are some fonts and images embeded in your file, that inkscape doesn't know how to render.

I couldn't open it in Inkscape either. Wonder if you could ask someone with AI to try to open it (in AI).

With the deleting of error causing things from the codes I could open it.
That version is attached.

In my opinion it is painful both on the technical and on the "artsy" level.
No program is a guaranty for a good design.

Salut Alain,

The only error i saw was on line 1698
<?xpacket begin='' id='W5M0MpCehiHzreSzNTczkc9d'?><x:xmpmeta
x:xmptk="XMP toolkit 3.0-29, framework 1.6">
I removed a faulty char in begin='' then I could open it in inkscape.

If you want to reopen it later in AI this version will -perhaps- behave better than Lazur URH's one.

I will not use AI now with Mountain Lion. :lol:
