Hi, I am new to this forum. I have been using Inkscape since last year. I still have lots to learn. I am usually a lurker and I have been lurking this forum for quite some time now and I feel that it's a great community to learn more about Inkscape. I also enjoy looking at the finished projects that the members have posted. I hope to learn more and become good at doing vector graphics.

Hi Brynn, Thanks for the welcome. I've actually been seeing your name here and I've been looking at the book drawing since yesterday. I actually draw a book as well, but I am still too bashful to add it.

The goal with doing those drawings, like in the "Draw a Book..." topic, is just to practice and improve our skills with Inkscape. By posting our works in progress (wip) we can get comments from other Inkscape users, which can give us even more opportunity to learn and improve. We are always very gentle with our comments, so whenever (if ever) you feel ready, you can be sure that there will be no negative comments -- only helpful ones But even if you don't post your image, you are still practicing and that's good!

Thanks spaventapasseri and brynn. That's a great point showing and sharing my artwork will help me get feedback, thus help me improve in the process. Okay, I am convinced I'll start doing that (sharing what I've created).

Like i always say, it's better to do something than nothing. So.. don't hesitate to show that something, the worst thing that could happen here, is no one will comment, the best, someone will give you feedback. In both cases you have nothing to loose.
