I copy and paste from one Inkscape window to another and my pasted stuff turns into a bitmap?

When I copy the stuff on the right window to the left window it turns into a bitmap. Why?!

It shouldn't. Do you have some specific kind of clipboard manager?
Also, how did you start the second Inkscape? From within the first?
Is the 'Win 7/10, Inkscape 0.92.0' still current?

That is usually seen on Mac systems... hrrrrmmmm..

But also check there are no filters in effect... Looks like there might have been at one point. You might also try Menu>FIle>"Clean up document" to remove unused filters, markers and other hidden items.

Hey, thanks for the responses. It seems like 'clean up document' might have worked. I don't have any kind of clipboard manager.
