How do I fill in the letter 'i' with text? I've tried everything! Large letter 'i', small text, making the 'i' a path and then flowing the text into the frame while both are selected- nothing! help!!! : (

If you want to create a text in a shape of something, you can use manual kerning too.
Press Alt+arrows at selected positions.

If you want some random text filled objects, duplicate the objects and use them as clipping mask over the text object.
