(Hi, I'm new)
I have an entire list of icons that I've made that I usually upload to Microsoft 365 in PNG. Now I need to upload them as SVG. I did this a few days ago with some icons I made and it wasn't a problem. But today, the SVG files show as missing several elements when opened. If I open them back in Inkscape, they are there.
Any hints? Thanks

UPDATE: Looks like only the text was missing. But I was able to work around it by going into each file and converting the text from object > path.

Can you share one of those files, and tell us exactly which part is missing in the other software?

Also, be aware that if you created 'flowed text' (i.e. you selected the text tool, then dragged a box on the canvas into which to type), that's not supported by any other software. Normal SVG text is created by selecting the text tool then clicking in the canvas (not dragging), but you have to handle line breaks manually. You can convert flowed text to normal text with the Text > Convert to Text option, but the results can sometimes leave something to be desired.
