Oh sorry...
I'm not on the Inkscape list and not interested in joining yet another list. The OCAL one has been a nightmare... forgot my password and thus I cannot get off of that list. I get spammed daily by it.

Here is a screenshot how to use the new filtereffects. Partial German language, hope that is not a problem.
