I have fedora 11 (with inkscape) installed on my desktop(quad 64bits) and on my notebook (amd-thurion 64bits).
on my notebook I can use many fonts (ea minion pro, that I installed for using in LaTeX).
on my desktop I can't use these fonts in inkscape?
I have (with yum) uninstalled inkscape and then installed it again, but that didn't help.
any ideas?

Are you sure have those fonts installed on desktop too? Do they come up in other applications?
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt

yes, I'm sure. because I use LyX and LaTeX on both machines and on both machines I installed the MinionPro fonts. I can use Minion on both machines.
