Hi all,
I have a small beginner problem…
I don’t know how I ended up with this. I used a online vectorizing app to vectorize a word in a specific font. Now I have a black square in the background and the word/logo is in another white square. The square is placed exactly over the black one and I can see the logo only when its over the black square. When I drag the white square away, you cannot see the logo anymore. How do I combine those 2? I have just one Layer.
Thanks,
Logo only visible on black background

Re: Logo only visible on black background
It's a little hard to make suggestions based on just the description.
Rather than us making random guesses, It would be best to post a link to the file on dropbox or similar.

Have a nice day.
I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

TD is right about guessing. My first guess is that the web app made a clip or mask.
If all you need is text converted to paths, you could do that with Inkscape.
