Changing 4-digit number in Defined Grids

Postby Starchy » Wed Jan 14, 2009 8:17 am

I'm a newbie and would like to know how to change the 4-digit number
in Defined Grids. I go to File>Document Properties>Grids>click New and
my Inkscaper default number is 2383. I was following a tutorial that had
a different number here. I tried clicking on New several time and the number
would increase by two. Below is a copy (hope you can read it) of the area. Thanks.

You would need to edit the XMl... I don't know exactly where.

The number is arbitrary--it's picked semi-randomly. It's just a unique identifier and there's no practical reason to change it except to make it more eye pleasing :)

Thanks microUgly, I thought it had something to do with the grid setting.
