Small gap in circle tool

Small gap in circle tool

Hi Everyone

Complete newbie to Inkscape here. Am trying to use it to design fabric prints and I noticed that when using the circle tool, a small gap appears in each and every circle I create. I don't know how to fix this and am hoping one of you can help.
I am attaching a picture of the circle with that gap so that you can see what I mean.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
