hello, I'm new to Inkscape. Looks promising.However,I can't get the extensions to work. All are in the proper directory/subdirs, all files are present (inx and py). An extension supposedly starts up, but appears to continue working, but without completing. While the extension is working, Inkscape does not freeze, but by interrupting the extension through the "Cancel" button, a message appears."Inkscape encountered a problem, has to close sorry etc.etc.". Pressing the Debug button on this message makes Inkscape quit altogether,but no debug log or text appears. I managed to find the logtext however, and it tells me that there's an executable is missing ????? Can anyone please tell me what's going on ? Operating sys = Win XP Pro, SP3. Inkscape v.0.48. Thanks.
