Export Outline in Display Mode to Bitmap File
I noticed that Inkscape has this great feature where I can view my artwork as an outline (View > Display Mode > Outline). Is there any way I can export the image in this view? When I try, it only exports the Normal View image. I'd also like to be able to print with the Outline View.

Hhhm....I don't think so. I could be wrong though.
You could simulate such thing fairly easily though. You could copy the whole thing, paste into a new document, remove any filters and fills, perhaps assign the same stroke width to all the paths, and then export. If there are no groups, this should be fairly easy by using Select All. But if there are groups, you might have to ungroup first. I'm not sure about clones, but they shouldn't present any problems. I guess it depends on how complex the image is, as to how long that would take.....certainly less time that creating it in the first place, I would think.

Re: Export Outline in Display Mode to Bitmap File
As you explicitly asked for it as a bitmap, rather than an SVG file, I would suggest just taking a screenshot and then cropping out the bits of the window that you don't want in a bitmap editor. The downside is that this would limit the resolution of the image based on the size of your window, or would entail manually stitching together several zoomed-in versions to get a higher resolution.

Hi. I guess you can say that the image is fairly complex. I tried the suggestion you gave but unfortunately there are just too many fills and too many adjustments that would have to be made in order to get a complete outline similar to the Outline Display Mode. Thanks, though.

Yeah, a bit more complicated then what I was looking for. Maybe I'll just request the feature - something like a checkbox in the Export to Bitmap window - that will allow the export of the current display mode. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
