Text and Line spacing

Postby PetBad » Wed Feb 17, 2010 9:25 pm

0,47 on Ubuntu: Text and Line spacing

I do some comic lettering and need to work with more lines of text.

Whats a problem:

in "Text" I check ttf font, height, ... and line spacing on 120%. Save as default. And then with first letter write this value skip to 100%... the same if I copy text from text file. No response then I change this value.

WTF?

I've seen problems like this, too. I think there is a bug report already. Hmm.
Can't find it right now, though.

With the text cursor in your text, open the Text and Font dialog. Set your font size and line spacing, then click > Set as Default < first, then click > Apply.

Works for me, I’m on Linux too. The settings stay and carry over each time I start a new sessions of Inkscape.

Cheers
