0.91 crashes more often, does not emergency save

Postby toxigames » Tue Feb 24, 2015 6:05 am

After going from 0.48 to 0.91 I noticed how 0.91 crashes more often and basically never emergency saves. It's a shame since I really dig the HSL Adjust extension :/

These sort of crashes seems to happen when I have a lot of objects which I have because I am creating scenes for video games in Inkscape. However with 0.91 the crashes seem to happen much sooner due to what I am guessing is some upper limit on object quantity. 0.48 almost always emergency saved, 0.91 basically never does this.

Can anyone confirm this behavior with 0.91?

Hello,

- You have to put your system specifications (operative system, RAM, Proccesor, etc). Related with that, are you using special hardware: two screens, a tablet,...etc?

- You should also ask this in the developers launchpad, at least. Go to inkscape.org to know more

- If possible, post a problematic file, at least for getting a workaround, or others be aware of the limitations

- I may be wrong, but sometimes using Inkscape from commandline, can provide information about what is causing that continuous crashing... possible suspects: a strange font, a strange extension, a bad configuration file...
If you have problems:
1.- Post a sample (or samples) of your file please.
2.- Please check here:

3.- If you manage to solve your problem, please post here your solution.
