Join polygon without "frontier" between them

Postby Chamois Rouge » Thu May 27, 2010 11:30 pm

Hi everybody,

I'm a new user of Inkscape and I have a little problem. I would like to join some adjacent polygons without border between them. I select my polygons, I do a Ctrl+G", they are well joined, but it remains borders between former independent polygons. It makes some problems when I fill my joined polygon in red and borders in black for example (borders inside polygons are till visible). Does exist a solution to avoid this problem ??

Sorry for my bad English, it's not my mother tongue :)

I think you actually want to union them, not group them, so use the Ctrl + + key combination. Make sure you snap nodes in those polygons so you get them to merge perfectly without any additional nodes.
