^ As far as I remember, the first post has to be approved by mods - so, why are you using your alter-account for comments like these?
If it`s something personal (you two know each other personally) - forget it but I`d really like to hear your side.

Perhaps we could help you somehow?

Usually, on other forums, to have two accounts is rather odd practice let alone if it`s allowed or not

What smells like spam is usually spam, the links can pop up later.

I confess, I missed it on the other topic until Lazur pointed it out.
Have a nice day.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1

The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

"Hi Everyone I am New Here."
"So what? ..."

Quite a casual conversation, indeed.
OTOH, if it`s spam - why so serious? Delete key is lost, as Control recently? x]

^It wasn't me aproving this garbage.

There is an option of disapproval with the explanation of "This message is frivolous and does not contribute to a conversation, something spammers usually do."

Which this is exactly. Stating the obvious is not a conversation starter. We cannot build on that. Cannot welcome if you don't even state who you are.
Numbers in usernames are a red flag.
We are waiting for the edit to happen when this unharming first post will have a blue underline and a link added to a special offer.

Otoh why should I care?
Why should I feel the need to explain myself to you?
Do you need this job?
Go for it. Do it better.

If you had no need you could have just skipped this tirade,)
If you don`t care why are you moderating, let alone reacting?

Is politeness also lost/denied?

Because I have my own standards even if you think otherwise.
Besides rtfm is listed as a legit helpful answer by the very start even in the help section. What's your concern?

Why are you so afraid moderators being not the *most* polite, up to your expectations, towards one hit spammers wasting bandwidth and all of our time, brain fluids, oxigen, rays of the Holy Sun, and anything in between?

Lazur URH wrote:This kind of spammers won't bother posting a reply.
Could have been extremely rude firing up the deathstar -can bet big times they are not reading any of it.
If in doubt check those one hit wonderers profiles to see their last being active time.

related topic

Yep. PankajRai90 spent 10 minutes on this site between registering and abandoning it for the good.
May come back later editing in a link in the original message.

If you are after a more professional forum where moderators sign a code of conduct you know where to look for ,)

But have to admit, you are totally right. I should skip/quit.

I ban lots of one post 'newbies'. The number of Kitchen and siding sellers who are also newbies to this forum and just want to say hello are surprising. The 'personal female assistant' was probably not a bot but ... gone anyway. Be strong.
The problem is not that they are in the 'hello' folder but that they take up all the top spots in the 'active topics' thereby burying the topics that are actually being discussed. Sure, experienced forum users can filter topics but to the actual new users the useful discussions are hard to see.
Your mind is what you think it is.
