Hello,
This is the next tutorial I am going to do. This is the current idea:
This would be simple sample for grid, shadow blur, node edition and layers usage.
Any feedback is welcome

That search dialog box (at the top of the page) can be very useful..... and I`ll use shadow or shading or realistic or light or .....

Different ways to make a shadow on the floor. Using the same purple arrow, the purple arrow can look like it's a piece of paper hovering over the floor (or table) and parallel to it, or standing up really close to a wall (left). Or standing on the floor (middle). Or standing up and hovering (right). Many tutorials will show how. Look at the sites in my forum signature and browse around until you find some.
There's a little more complex example of a shadow using clipping in the tutorial I made, found in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6616 Look under the section called "Clipping". But there are many, many different kinds of situations where shading and shadows can be used, especially to simulate, or at least imply 3 dimensions.

This reminds me of an important point from Leonardo DaVinci notebook, shadows are not additive.
Also depending on light intensity and color saturation of object, the shadow can sometimes have the shadow faintly fringed in the color of the object.
