first and foremost, introduce myself.
I'm a proud medium user of inkscape. I find it a MASSIVE and super useful program and use it in my work.

I'm having a problem in cloning a Barcode using EDIT > Clones > Create Tiled Clones.
What I see in iInkscape is right, but when I print the document, just the original one is getting printed.
If I export to PDF, same happens: the image exported is right, but when I print it just the original one gets printed.

any help?

Solved:
In the "Create Tiled Clones" menu I was working and testing in the "Shift" tab.
I moved in the "trace" tab and click the checkbox "Trace the drawing under the lines" and left:
- "Color" checked in the menu 1 "Pick from the drawing
- "Presence", "Color", "Size" and "Opacity" in the menu 3 "Apply the Value to the clones"

What happens now is that I actually experienced to have the original barcode (image) overlapping the first clone, so I have to erase it.

Printing works from Inkscape.

Retaining the original is normal.

What is the reason to use trace? (Not usually needed to make a sheet of barcodes.)

There is an extension for generating them already, might reduce the necessary work?:
