Stripped filled pattern

Postby L3munoz » Sat Feb 05, 2011 6:10 am

Hi everybody,

this is my first post, so I hope someone could help me. The point is that I want to control somehow the pattern configuration of an object. Let's say I drew a rectangle and I want to fill it by a stripped pattern. I know how to do it and how to edit it, changing the slope or the width of the lines, but it seems it only can be done by mouse control. In this way, if I do another rectangle and I want the same filled pattern it is really tough to get it. Is there any way to achieve it??

Thanks in advance,

L3munoz.

Have you tried Paste style (Shift + Ctrl + V)? Copy the original object with the pattern, select the second one and use this command.

You can also snap pattern handles to grid so you can use that to help you recreate the same pattern elsewhere.
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt
