Bring text & image ontop of picture? (Language Warning!)

Hi there, im new to the site so yes this will be a noob question haha.
Was just wondering how do i go about moving text and an image from one of my designs onto a blank tshirt design i have? without the blank white space around the writing an picture? and how do i get the writing an image to come forward onto the blank tshirt design? everytime i try to do it the writing and image go behind the blank tshirt :oops: IMAGE'S BELOW

Also or this might be easier to answer say i want to jut cut out the image of the dinosaur(see pic) an get rid of the rest how do i do that? someone said it has something to do with the bezier tool but everytime i go around the image i want an then click on " object > clip > set " nothing happens i was told the background would dissapear just leaving me with my cut out image.. can someone help me please thanks an sorry if its confusing..

Welcome to InkscapeForum!

You might have some luck vectorizing it, using Inkscape's Path menu > Trace Bitmap. I would suggest trying that first, in this case, because it looks like the text image is too tall to fit on the t-shirt image. And once it's vectorized, it can be scaled without pixelization.
