New hotkey for visibility of layer - inkscape, winXP

Dear all, I'd like to ask, how can I set a hotkey for visibility of current layer - to have opportunity hide/show it with out using mouse and eye symbol. Also the same thing for "lock/unlock" current layer. I had tried the default.xml file in /inkscape/share/keys - but did not find such operations. I work in Windows XP.

It is currently not possible to hide/unhide or lock/unlock a layer with a keyboard shortcut or assign a new keyboard shortcut to it.

You could add a comment to this feature request (expanding it to both features - lock/hide):
