So, situation:

I'm in the font dialog, trying out fonts. I hit "apply" to see how the text looks on canvas ('cos I'm trying to come close to a raster text). Bebofre 0.90 the selection in the font list remained where it was, but now it goes all the way to the top where the recently used fonts are. I don't like that. Does anybody know of a way to change that? I really don't mind disabling the font history if it's necessary.

Right now I'm looking at fonts starting with H, hit apply, ka-boom, I'm back at the top, I can hit H again, but that sends me to the first font starting with H. In my case I have like a trillion Helvetica-something fonts for some unknown reason , if I was in the 20th Helvetica variant I have to go looking for that and when trying font after font after font, it becomes a chore rather quickly.

You might try the toolbar... the dropdown menu there seems to stay.
