Hoy-hoy
My english is no so good, so, I wiill be short.
Maybe anybody remember vector drawing program nammed TopDraw. For windows only. Autor is (was): Top Software; Conifer; Colorado; USA. The last version was 3.1 for windows 3.1 - 16 bit, made year 1996.
But I have a lot of TopDraw files. Maybe anybody know for any import filter or tool for importing TopDraw files into InkScape?

Did you see the indigo Pony, when he came from other side wall of the night?
Re: Import TopDraw file
I doubt that anyone has written an import filter for this format. I notice that PC World still has the program for download (Top Draw), and says that it supports WMF. If that means it can export to WMF, then this may be your best hope of getting the files into Inkscape.
Re: Import TopDraw file
I tried this way. Via WMF. But TopDraw export filter to WMF produce..... Hm, I can't find right word..... a "forest" of nodes, maybe - without handlers - when exporting anything more complexed as polygon (sorry - google translation). Colour gradients exports as set of objects.....
Then I have to make a lot of manual work. In some cases almost equal (in hours) as when I made original picture.
I wish to know, if possible, what happend with author of program TopDraw. Is he still allive? Why he's stopped the developing? Hm, I search this ifnormation in internet, but I found nothing.
I wish you nice rainy day

Re: Import TopDraw file
Colorado telephone directory? Conifer is near Evergreen, both in Jefferson County, and near Denver.
I'm NOT suggesting that you call the guy. That would be rude and invasive. Because if he doesn't have an internet contact, it might be because he does not wish to be contacted. ...unless you find an active business number - if he's actively in business, a phone call might be appropriate... But otherwise, you might find a current address, in the telephone directory, to help search with? Also, if he's not in the directory, that might indicate that he has moved?
Just some thoughts
