[solved] Newbie] fill a rectangle with a (flat) colour

Postby jeanchristophe » Tue May 11, 2010 9:39 pm

Hello, I am sorry for the stupidity of my question, but I can't find out, even if I looked for an answer on google!

I make a rectangle
Then I take the arrow, mark the rectangle and right click and choose fill and stroke
the fill and stroke menu opened.
choose a color by choosing R then G then B.
If I push the "linear gradient" button, well I can see the colour
If I push the "radian gradient" button, well I can see the colour
but if I choose the flat colour, then I get no colour !!!!

Can you please advice?

Best regards
Jean-Christophe

Are you sure you're clicking on the Flat color and not on the No paint button?

Is one of the gradient handles selected when you click the Flat color button?
