I have been using Inkscape and learning with it for a few weeks now and I am impressed to say the least. I am impressed that I have been able to learn to use it and there are so many places on the web for resources to get information.
However, I am at a point where I am stuck. I feel like I have scoured all sources and can't seem to find an answer or fix. Now, I ask you experts.
I am using Inkscape in a Mac environment with OS Mavericks. I have attempted to add printing marks, bleeding marks, etc. However, I get this pop up window telling me to download: http://cheeseshop.python.org/pypi/lxml/ This is a windows file and I have not found anything similar for the Mac.
Is there a workaround for this on a Mac?

Thanks Ragnar for your response.
That is almost a bit over my head and a bit confusing between the potential variables of unsure outcomes, from reading the information for both those links.
Is this the only way to get the resource printing marks to function correctly? I find that a lot to do for what seems to be a simple task.
Just slightly frustrated.

Hi
Easy Solution:
1. Tell me what size documents you need printing marks on.
2. I create files with printing marks.
3. I post them here.
3. You can copy to your system - (you can even make templates.)
Example;

Read this earlier topic: "where to find what's needed for extensions OS X".
(no need to install anything, it can be fixed by inserting a single line into a shell script inside the application bundle, instructions can be found by following above link).

Thank you this worked like a charm and was the type of fix I needed.
Ragnar,
Thanks again for your speedy responses and offer to assist.
