I am trying to download the 0.91 version.
I tried once using MSI installer and it appeared to have completed successfully and I was directed to the install window.
I exited once it showed finished.
But I couldn't find the Inkscape program anywhere.
I am trying again but its taking forever.
Am I ok downloading the MSI or should I do something else?

you have not specified your system, but I will assume win8 or newer. if the program installed it should be in C:\Program Files and a link in your Start/Apps screen as well as on your desktop. if these are not present, you should look in your control panel/programs and features to try to uninstall it before making another attempt at installing.
