Hi!
I am a newbie! I am using Inkscape 0.91 running on Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, w/ Service Pack 1.
I have a document 12 (H) by 16 (W). Outside the document, I have four rectangles: )1) 2.5 by 4, (2) 2.5 by 4, (3) 5 by 4, and (4) 2.5 by 4.
How do I align the objects so that they fill the document horizontally w/o gaps in between?
Thank you!
Dr. T

Re: Help w/ Alignment
I would use Snapping, possibly aided by Guides. http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... pping.html

Re: Help w/ Alignment
I'd use the Align and distribute dialog. Object > Align and distribute, or, even easier, the dialog Object > Arrange
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

Dear Brynn and Moini,
Thank you for your replies.
I’ll try all three: snapping, align, and arrange.
