Resize rectangle without affecting stroke width?

Postby seans_potato_biz » Sun Oct 24, 2010 11:05 am

When I resize a rectangle, the stroke width changes proportionally. Can I stop this from happening?
Win 7/10, Inkscape 0.92.2

Yes. At the far right of the Selection tool control bar are 4 buttons with similar icons. One of them says something like "scale stroke width proportionally to size". Just click to deselect, and you're set!

Also, please note the links in my signature, for some excellent instructional material :D
