Greetings fellow InkScapers!

Postby bullismasher » Sat Jun 04, 2011 6:22 pm

I'd like to extend my gratitude to both - the InkScape developers and the community who've helped build such awesome vector design app! I'm a UI/ graphics designer and the creative lead / co-founder of It's Alive (www.itsalive.in). The discovery of InkScape in my design career was one of the most significant ones, since it taught me that things don't have to be complex to work well. That's something I've applied in all my work ever since. I've designed really successful apps such as www.cricketstockexchange.com using InkScape only, and I do a ton of branding work using InkScape as a starting point. Thank you everyone and much love.

So there's that... my introduction.
I hope to get to know the lot of you soon, since you seem like a great bunch.

Peace,
bullismasher

Welcome. We look forward to seeing your artwork too. nice website!
BTW - just curious, if you don't mind, is your name bulli smasher, or bullis masher, or what? It's funny how the mind wants to make different words of it.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
@ flamingolady : Name's bulli smasher :) . If your mind actively breaks up words and rejoins them, you're most likely great at word-crafting! I'd like to see your work too!

@ prkos: Made http://www.itsalive.in in Photoshop. Was the first website I ever made (hadn't discovered InkScape back then) . I discovered InkScape after we started the company and made the website. http://www.cricketstockexchange.com and http://bhagwatishipping.co.in/ are completely made in InkScape :)

@brynn: Thank you!

The uploads are fine!

Welcome, welcome!

Very nice handiwork there with Inkscape!

The following is what I've attempted to do in Inkscape. It's a mock up book cover for a series called The DragonKeeper Chronicles.

FYI, there are a couple of forums for showing off your Inkscape work: viewforum.php?f=7 It's fine to leave your messages here as they are. But you might want to also post them in the place where others are browsing shared images :D

All nice work, btw!
