interpolate attributes - stroke color

Postby ladyphlogiston » Tue Apr 05, 2011 2:12 am

I'm trying to use the "Interpolate Attributes in a Group" extension to change the stroke color of a group of paths. "Fill" is one of the attribute choices, but "Stroke" is not. Selecting "Other" and typing in Stroke doesn't work, and I've done a good bit of poking around online for suggestions without any luck. I can do Stroke to Path first and then interpolate the fill, which works okay for the application I'm currently using, but it seems like there should be a better way. Is there a good way to do this? thanks

I figured it out. It needs to be "stroke" (all lower-case) and "Style" under Where to apply? Hooray.

Welcome ladyphlogiston!

I'm glad you figured it out, because I didn't know. I wasn't even aware that extension existed.

that's funny :) I'm pretty new to inkscape (and vector graphics in general) and I noticed it as I was poking through the menus in an attempt at semi-methodical learning. It's under Modify Path in the extension menu.
