Image resized when sent to plotter/cutter

Postby drose » Tue Aug 18, 2015 5:59 am

Hi,
I'm using inkscape with a graphtec cutting plotter and someone has gone and messed with the settings.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix them. When I sent the image to cut, it squished it to about a quarter size and flipped it.

I fixed the flip by unchecking the "invert y access" . I tried resetting default settings in the dialog box before planning path. i checked document properties. I can't figure out how to reset whatever needs resetting so that my design cuts full size without being squished. It's like there is some sort of size limit in place somewhere.

Can anyone please help?

I can't answer your question, at least not yet. Have you searched on this board, for similar messages?

I've recently taken over/"inherited" a forum that was designed to help people who use Inkscape for their cutting/plotting projects. It's "not ready for prime time" yet, and is in pretty rough shape. I'm not even sure if searching works... But you could try searching here: http://inkscapecuttingdesign.com I'm in the process of fixing it up, and when it's ready, I'll announce it formally.

But meanwhile, maybe you can find something helpful there. I know that I've seen messages about graphtec cutters there.
