Hello,
I wanted to know if there is an easy way to remove a particular color from a plot I have. In the attached plot, I just want the figure to have the red plot and delete the blue plot. I would have to do this for multiple plots for my research work
Thanks so much!
Jay

Hi.
Try edit/select same/fill and stroke, then delect selected objects.

Hello Lazur,
Thanks for your reply. I tried doing that but nothing happened. I perhaps should have mentioned that it is just a png image?

That's a totally different perspective.
You can use a graphic editor with better luck like gimp yet the results won't be as good as they were plotted without the blue lines in first place.
(Due to anti-aliasing, those are "smudged" at intersections or at least one covering the other.)

Thanks. I will give gimp a try.

Hello
But that plot...
was created in a program of your own?... Does that program can't export to a vector format?
Is Gnuplot?... I think it has an option to export to SVG.

Re: Remove particular color from a plot
Hi Hulf. No it was just a snapshot from pdf which I saved as a png.
Meanwhile I got somewhat desirable result using gimp as attached.

Re: Remove particular color from a plot
Nice.
Although if you do have the original pdf-s, they might be vectors that inkscape could care of?
Saving as png is also at a fixed dpi which probably doesn't render raster images as they were embedded -if the plot was an embedded raster image.
