It looks stupid to answer your own question but maybe it will be helpful to someone.

First of all there may be not that many templates because YT channels has very customizable layout and people use them differently. For example if one choose to fill only few personal data the Profile field will be smaller than a profile field in other person's channel who decided to give away more details. By fields I mean wrappers etc.

Here's what I did:

    0. Get Inkscape and GIMP graphics applications.

    1. Take screenshots of YouTube channel:

      a) first set needed to draw fields
      - open the Themes and Colors in your YT channel
      - set some high contrast colors and 0% tranparency
      - open your channel without being logged in
      - set browser to full screen and 100% zoom (no zoom, 1:1)
      - save each sshot in losseless PNG format
      b) second set needed for overlay and preview
      same as above but
      - set everything to 100% transparency and pink background
      - open each sshot in GIMP and delete all the pink areas quickly using Select by color tool

    2. Import PNG screenshots into Inkscape and put them together:

      - a bug that may stand in your way viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4731
      - setting transparency to sshots temporarily may be very helpful

    3. Prepare layers and place different elements on different layers (see the screenshot below)

    4. Draw rectangles with rounded corners on the fields from sshots to reflect the original YT channel fields

    5. Decide which elements of the design will come from the background and which from YT.
You can set almost everything transparent in YT configuration and the fields will be the ones you draw on your background in Inkscape.

    6. Test by opening your channel without being logged in.

Below you can see the layout slided apart:

It would have looked stupid if you had not mentioned that you yourself were going to answer your question but anyway as you have done it, I seriously think you don’t look that way. Besides we will only think what you have done as a remarkable thing because I have not heard of a question like this before which was answered by none but you which comes to the conclusion that you will be credited for asking as well as answering the question!
