Really nice tutorial. I don't think it's too long. Good for novice or intermediate. Only point is I think there is some Internet educate, about call someone a noob. I think the more polite form is newb, but hay I quit game 5 years ago so...

I believe "noob" is the spelling that has been identified as the candidate for the 1 millionth word in the English language.

Wow I did know that! It was only 40 years ago that English had less than 100,000 words and it was too big then. Commence fake rant here*** Only a noob would put noob in the dictionary! Noob will go the way of zoot suit and green horn. Eventually.... They should put in disambiguate or something. Even though disambiguate should not be a word anymore than antidisestablishmentarian! ***end fake rant ;)

II. Defining 'Noob'
Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. n00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own. It is the latter we will study in this guide so that the reader is prepared to encounter them in the wild if needed.
