Document won't print.

Document won't print.

I'm new to Inkscape, any help is appreciated. Why can't I print my document? My printer works fine otherwise, but it seems not to be communicating with Inkscape ... I click print and nothing happens, it doesn't even show up in my status bar."

Inkscape version?
Operating system?

Nothing shows in my status bar either, when I click Print in Inkscape. Has the printer been turned on yet, at this point? I don't even have a printer connected, so I can't test any further than this. But the Inkscape version and os will help others help you.
