Change Color in Inner Glow Filter

Postby starbella » Sun Apr 17, 2011 1:56 am

How do you change the color in the inner glow filter? When I try to use inner glow, it always comes up yellow. I know you can go to filter editor but I can't figure out where to go from there. There are no color choices in effect parameters. If I add the Flood effect, I can change colors, but then it fills the entire object with that color. Thanks for your help!

Welcome starbella!

Ok, you're on the right track! Open the Filters Editor. There you will see a column with the heading "Effect". In that column, click Flood. Now look below at the "Effect parameters" tab. There is a bar with a yellow rectangle. If you click the yellow rectangle bar, you can change the color there. It only has the color wheel style of editor, but it also contains an eyedropper, which I assume will allow you to directly copy an existing color.

Hope that helps :D
