Hey! I am a new Inkscape user and I would like to know how to adjust the hardness of an image or shape. Also adjusting the hardness is like getting blur to the edges of an image. Thank you!
Cheers,

Re: How to adjust the hardness of an image?
Welcome to the forum !
Most new inkscape users ask very vague question when they post for the first time.
Context is very important. What were you trying to do ?
Also you are mixing the terms image and shape. Image is mostly raster (so an exported png for example), while a shape is probably an svg object (= a path).
You can apply blur to an object, removing that blur would make it "hard" again.
Is that what you are trying to do ?

Than you for your fast reply! That is kind a what I am trying to do, but same for the image.

Re: How to adjust the hardness of an image?
Im still not clear what is going on....
You did that effect with your phone ?
If you dont have the project file, then undoing the blur effect is close to impossible.
I'd rather try to find the original image.
Have you tried google reverse image search ? Or is that not an option ?

Re: How to adjust the hardness of an image?
You can use masking and export as png if you want such a raster image made with inkscape.

Yeah that's pretty complicated thing

I have that image originally too and it's from my "company's" photo bank.

Okay, thank you for your advice!

See parts 14 & 15 of my Inkscape tutorial series for more details about how to do this.
