Usin different kind of texts

Hi.

I have Inkscape ver 0,46 in spanish. When I change the type of text from, for example "Sans" to "Times New Roman" nothing happens: the type continues "Sans". And if I choose Italic it doesn´t change either. ¿What is the problem?

Are you using the Text toolbar to change the font, or the Text and Font dialog? If I'm not mistaken, the text toolbar doesn't work so well. But if you use the Text and Font dialog, you should be able to change the font. Let us know if that solves the problem.
