Hi,
some screenshots of a new filter that mimics the dissolve filter in bitmap editor but this one is a "vector" one (no bitmap used)

I hope you will share them when finished. I'm not familiar with dissolve in raster editors, but it looks like the lightest one could almost be used to simulate graininess in a low res photo? Or not?

It should be included in a package that I'm working on and that (should) allows you to import gimp and photshop images with all the layer structure, the paths, the text, the guide, the gradients and (most of) the blend modes.
Perhaps I'll make it work with illustrator too
