Constraining Objects using control

Postby jh2os » Wed Sep 07, 2011 3:00 am

I am trying to use the control key to make a circle while using the ellipse tool. Also, the control key should constrain the Bezier tool to a straight line. Unfortunately neither of these are working for me. I am using a MacBook Pro and have already gone through the steps of remapping the alt and command key. They are working fine. Since the command key is mapped to control, I assume that this is what I need to use for these functions, however, when I hold command while clicking to draw a circle, a side menu appears. The command key seems to be working properly otherwise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this would be a forum question or a Mac-edition question.

Perhaps a Mac user would best answer this question.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

If you haven't already, you might try searching the forum. I'm pretty sure it's been answered before. Unfortunately, I use Windows, so haven't paid close enough attention to remember the answer :(
