Hello

I'm looking for how to do to have rounded corners on a square with Inkscape v0.91.
Lot of tutorials on the web explains it with a lower version but in v0.91 it doesn't look like the same thing.

I don't find the "round Handle" in the square corner when I select it.
So how to do that ?

It still works the same way in 0.91. If you're selecting an existing square, make sure of the following:

1) That it's definitely a square or rectangle. Check the Status Bar at the bottom of the screen - it should say "Rectangle". If it says anything else (e.g. Path, Group or Clone) then you should either draw a new square, or you'll need different instructions (in that case, supplying the SVG file will help).

2) With it selected, switch to the Rectangle tool . A quick shortcut is just to double-click on the square - that will both select it and switch to the rectangle tool.

3) You should now be able to see the round handle. It's usually at the top-right, but could have moved if your square has been rotated or reflected.

4) You should also see Rx and Ry fields on the tool control bar. Entering values in those should also round it - right click on them for some quick shortcuts.


If you don't see the round handle or the Rx & Ry fields then something very odd is going on that will require further investigation.

I thought I had to stay with the select tool to edit corners.
