How to add Adobe CMYK color profiles to Inkscape

1. Download "Fogra27L.icm" from https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5ca0mpHwQ1ATVkzNFRKVVpwU28&usp=sharing

2. Copy "Fogra27L.icm" to "/usr/share/color/icc/colord" directory



How to use

1. Start Inkscape

2. Press Ctrl + Shift + D to open Document Properties window in Inkscape.

3. Select Color Management tab in Document Properties.

4. Select ‘Fogra27L CMYK Coated Press’ from ‘Available Color Profiles ‘ drop down menu in ‘Color management’ tab.

5. Press ‘Link Profile’ button beside ‘Available Color Profiles ‘ drop down menu.

6. Close ‘Document Properties’ window.

7. While Selecting the object need to be edited press Control + Shift + F to open ‘Fill and Stroke’ window.

9. Select ‘CMS’ tab and select ‘Fogra27L CMYK Coated Press’ from Dropdown menu.

10. Put value to get your desired color in C, M ,Y, K fields.
